The Custom One Renovation team is excited to unveil a recent transformation in Minnetonka, showcased in the 2024 Fall Remodelers Showcase. This renovation reflects the homeowners’ desire for a sleek, modern design that enhances their ability to entertain, while creating an inviting, open-concept living space.

The centerpiece of this project was the complete transformation of the main level. By removing a load-bearing wall, we opened up the kitchen, living, and dining areas, allowing for a seamless flow between the spaces. The ceiling was vaulted by removing the roof and trusses, creating a grand, airy environment. The kitchen renovation is a true highlight, featuring a Wolf 48″ Gas Range with 6 Burners and Infrared Griddle, part of a high-end pro-series appliance package that delivers both functionality and style. The space also includes a multi-purpose bar service area and direct access to the new deck, making it perfect for hosting and entertaining.

Adjacent to the kitchen, the fireplace was converted to gas and given a modern update with Dekton cladding, creating a sleek yet warm focal point in the living area. This upgrade enhances the cozy ambiance while complementing the home’s modern aesthetic.

The deck renovation enhances the home’s connection to the outdoors, with easy flow from the kitchen to a beautifully designed outdoor space. The deck is built for year-round enjoyment, featuring Dekton countertops, which are UV-resistant and highly durable. It also boasts a Twin Eagles 42-inch grill, Alfa Moderno Pizza Oven, and a built-in kegorator, all elements that transform the deck into an ideal spot for outdoor entertaining.

On the exterior, we gave the home a modern makeover, transitioning from a traditional facade to a sleek, contemporary look. The fresh, sophisticated color palette, paired with new contemporary garage doors, elevates the curb appeal. Andersen Windows 400 Series were installed throughout the home, maximizing natural light and blending the indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly.

This renovation not only brought a modern aesthetic to the home but also significantly increased its functionality and entertainment potential, both indoors and out.
